How are you living your “Ideal Life”?
I live my “Ideal Life” life by embracing everything that takes place. Life is not going to always be perfect, but as long as God guides the reaction, I’m okay. I also live my “Ideal Life” by doing my absolute best to inspire others!
Describe your journey
My journey hasn’t been real hard, but it isn’t lightly treaded either. I have made the best of most situations and learned that even during the toughest moments, I am much stronger than I thought. My current journey involves me being married to the love of my life, who I am sure, others are tired of hearing about!!!! (LOL)!!! “Strange” as I call him entered my journey at the right time and has been a true Blessing. God used him to change the direction of the journey (I apparently was planning) and reminded me that he already had my steps ordered. During my journey I’ve also had 3 precious, very active and extremely spoiled children who truly are God’s gift to me! Every stop in my journey always confirms God’s plan!
What is the most valuable lesson you’ve learned?
God ALWAYS has a better plan than I do, and his is ALREADY figured out! (Jeremiah 29:11)
What challenges did you have to overcome?
Being a pleaser was my biggest challenge. No matter what I had going on, I would agree to help others do things which sometimes can be overwhelming when you have a husband, 3 kids and work, but balancing is important. Nothing is wrong with helping others, because I still do it quite often. I had to learn that it is okay to say no.
What is your morning routine?
Waking up everyone and enjoying the fact the my husband cooks us all breakfast every morning and juggles helping get the kids ready since he goes to work later than me! Yes it’s true… he really helps them get ready. 🙂 After everyone is ready to go, we pray and then we all go our separate ways knowing we’re prepared to make it great!
What motivates you?
My husband motivates me like no other. However, when I look at my 3 babies, they unknowingly motivate me to continuously strive for greatness and to ensure that they see that hard work pays off.
What would you share with those aspiring to create and live their “Ideal Life”?
I know we hear it all the time, but “be true to yourself”. If you are not true to you, you can’t be true to anyone else. You have to take care of yourself and learn to be happy individually before you can pass that happiness on to others. I am happy with who I am which makes me even happier to share this joy with my husband, children and so on. In others words, remember “you matter!”
What’s next for you?
I have no idea!! No, seriously I don’t. Right now I am just sitting back and enjoying all the great things that God is doing in our family. Of course, I have my thoughts, but I will just remain faithful and enjoy the ride!
